What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.

Everything in one place, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, read more and the bonus terms, is at tradetheday.com.
